What a "Stock market" really IS is the sum of thousands & thousands of individual events wherein one party sells shares to another...Brokers (and Market makers) just "facilitate" those trades.....so for EACH & EVERY share that trades there is a buyer AND a seller...

I also have a crucial question. Do investors have a limit on how much stocks can they buy? I have seen this on a game, but I am not sure if this applies to real life.
