keep working and looking for a used one
challenging thing research using yahoo this may help
With no assets no credit history, and no income, there is no way you can borrow $50K or more. If you have an income from which you can repay a loan, and can invest $10,000 or more of your own money, a bank may be willing to lend you $40,000, although it is unlikely with no credit history. It might work if you were borrowing 2-3K but not 50K or more. The lender would be taking too much risk. Continue working, save your money, and accumulate enough to buy used equipment. If you can't make the investment with your own money, there is no reason for someone else to do it and take all the risk that you should be taking.
Ill just cut to the chase.
I am 19 working in the motion picture industry as a camera assistant. I still live with my parents etc...
I want to buy a steadicam (camera stabilizer essentially) to become a steadicam owner/operator as most steadicam operators only get hired if they own their own.
That investment would be about $50,000-$90,000 depending on the one you get and the accessories etc...
What would be the smart way to go about financing this having hardly any equity and close to no credit report.
I have no credit cards or anything... Barely got my license... just trying to start early but not sure if that is possible.
Thanks for the help!
