The internal management fees for a mutual fund or ETF are "in the price."
Pull up an ETF on Yahoo Finance. Go to their profile page and look for the Annual Report Expense Ratio (ARER). That is the % charged by the fund for providing services.
ARER's vary widely. You would be well served to look before you buy.
you won't even notice the fees - they are a tiny fraction of 1%
Are the fees for etfs in the price or added somewhere else.
So if I buy an etf for 40 and sell it at 45....ignoring comissions.....do I make $5.
Are the fees only in their reports....like we made a 20% return but the etf price only went up by 15 during that period of time.
