If there was such a method that worked reliably, then everyone woud be doing it. Trading is essentially gambling, particularly Forex, you might be lucky, you might lose everything. Automated trading only works reliably if you are talking about multi-millions, have a dedicated system capable of making advantageous millisecond trades, and don't mind losing the occasional million.

If you want to make money from home and have any skills try a freelancing site, or sell stuff on ebay.

Because maybe with 500 dollars you an do a better job trading FX markets than the teams of Ph.D.s working 24 hours per day doing it at hedge funds and money center banks. You have better odds trying out for the Lakers.

500 isn't enough to get started. Prices go up and down quickly. If your values go down you wont have enough money in the account to rebound. It will all be gone in the first week. Software starts around 10k. It doesn't auto trade but tells you when to trade. It goes by the indicators it is programmed to look for but it is still no guarantee.

Try horse racing instead. Smaller bets are possible so it will take longer to lose all your money. Also more fun if you watch the race on TV.

Ok, so I was interested in forex trading, as I wanted to make some money from home (if there's a more efficient way of making money from home please say however I only have 500 to start with) so I wanted to look into forex trading, more specifically automated forex trading, I have heard that it is possible to buy computer programs which are capable of trading in the forex market automatically and making money from it. My first question is what is the earning potential of this, percentage wise over a certain time period? And what programs would you suggest that automatically trade in the forex market? And are there any better ways of making money? And I want to emphasize that im not looking to make alot of money from this just a small amount of money coming in automatically that I can reinvest all of my savings into, thanks for any answers.
