How are split stocks paid out?

If you had 10,000 shares but now have 5,000 then this is a consolidation not a split . 2 old shares become 1 new share at twice the previous price.

A share split 2;1 means that 1 old share beomes 2 new shares at half the previous price.

The value at 5,000 should be the same as it was when 10,000.

They did the reverse of splitting

As an investor my stocks were split 2:1 from my company. I recently received my summary of stocks and it still shows only half of my amount of 5,000 of the 10,000 I have vested. Does anyone know how this process works? Will I be given my stocks at a later time to invest? Will I be given a money amount for the stocks that were split? Will the pay out be more when I sell? Just curious.

Thanks in advance.
