Isn't going to happen...At best (and I mean little chance at best) you might turn that $100 into $150 within one year - making $50 on a $100 investment is a 50% return which is almost unheard of.

Over time, one of the better investments is stocks which returns 8% annually. To get anywhere near what you want you would have to get very lucky, find someone who had an idea that could sell, wouldn't take long to make and sell, and was looking for investors.
