"Investing 101" is one of the best FREE online courses where you can learn about investing and the stock market in general. Once you have digested that, then I recommend you go and buy the book "Investing for Dummies" (it’s a heck of a lot more sophisticated than its name implies) and is available on Half.com for as little as 75 cents:

I've been wondering how the world of stock investments and that stuff works (I'm a 15 year old so pardon my ignorance towards the subject).

I don't actually know what it is, but I know that it is a thing that people make money on.
