I'd recommend first going to Investopedia.com - it's pretty much the go-to place for new investors and will give you an overview of the topics you mentioned.
I'd also recommend getting a good grasp of Accounting and Finance principles. Usually recommend these two books for that: "Financial Intelligence: A Manager's Guide to Knowing the Numbers" and "Warren Buffett's 3 Favorite Books."
One last thing - while it is good to learn all aspects of stock trading, I recommend staying away from the speculative, tea-leaf reading area of trading. Before putting your money at risk, ask yourself if it is a wise business decision to do so. E.g. Are you investing in a profitable company that is undervalued?
Hope this helps
I met a guy during my trip to Alaska who would change my life. He was a trader and was making good money. He have me the basics, but I know I'm no where near ready to give it a shot.
Anyone know good books or anything that'll explain EVERYTHING I need to know? Example: different types of markets, price charts, brokerages, margins, compounding, what to look out for.
I really want to master this, mainly looking for truthful and detailed books, thanks
