Take a look at Investopedia. Lots to learn on there. Take a look at the tutorials.
Two things I did. Get investing for dummies so you know how it works. Watch mad money and learn principals. There are no short cuts to doing something such as investing. You will need to do some reading to know what your buying. You wouldn't just go to a car dealer and say ill take the red car without test driving it first. Don't just dive in and lose $5000 while your learning.

A stock Brokers is an intermediary who buys and sells for customers and takes a % of the deal.
You need to be employed by a stock broking firm?

Just avoid day trading, it is only good for brokerage firms.
Also penny shares are too risky, unless you hold for 10 years?
