If any of your commissions fees cancel out your gains, then yes, you're not getting much out of it. And, as DAC says, that's not investing; that's trading. There is nothing "unethical" about trading.

Looks like you are trading. That is not investing. Computerized trading has IMO made it impossible for us little guys to make money in trading. So I have switched to a research/buy/hold strategy. Works for me!
