Is this interest?

I asked about this topic once before, but now things seem to be escalating. I am a young female professional in my twenties, and I have a supervisor that I am interested in. Sometimes I feel like he might have interest in me as well. But I have no idea what interest would look like in the workplace. This is NOT something I would ever typically think of doing, but it is where we spend most of our time so it does make sense. And I do have friends who have met a significant other at work, so it does happen.

Anyways, I feel like I catch his gaze watching me sometimes. He once told me that it's nothing that I could "see" myself but that I have a positive effect on his office and his team. I thought nothing of it initially, but now I wonder if it meant something more than nothing. Recently, I was moved closer to his office due to a project that I was working on, and he tells me that he loves having me over there. Sometimes it seems like playful banter but I don't really know. For me, finding a nice guy is like trying to get water out of a rock and if its his way of telling me that he has interest then I would be flattered. What can I do? And are these actually signs of interest?

do? nothing, he may be showing interest in you because of your abilities and success at your job

if he hasn't indicated in any other way than the 'looks' don't give them a second thought
