Adobe seems to have gone to a Cloud based service scheme in which you pay a monthly fee, I have an account, in the short term it's a good deal compared to the price of one of their software bundle DVD packages they used to sell.
BTW, it's not true cloud software like Google's you install the Adobe applications which merely log into to Adobe to validate your account before running, you can run it for perhaps a month without having to connect to Adobe, they allow a license to install on 2 different computers.
