As a trend ( not a rule ) stock prices tend to soften on Fridays due to adverse economic figures issued on Thursdays . Keep an eye on the market diary.

Timing is everything. Selling stock is like running a red light. Do it at the right time, not the wrong.

And NO, selling stocks just because it's friday isn't a good way to go. From what i have seen, it;s generally the first day of the week that stocks go UP and DOWN on the last day (friday). Then again, it all depends on what is happening on that particular day not because of what day that is.
