Books? That is so 20th century! The internet has more free information than you could ever read. Take that book money for buying an ETF. (no book to dust, or to throw away 5 years, or sooner, if you are honest)
Study the Warren Buffett method. Read so many articles by and about him, you consider Buffett a member of your family. He is the greatest investor of our time. You could do a lot worse than not follow his lead.
Most people don't have the "discipline" though. Always trying to hit, not just a "home run", but a "grand slam". But they usually "strike out"!
