Permission to have 2 animals doesn't mean permission for unlimited animals. Unless a pet is specifically named on the lease, then it is not allowed.
You DID break the tenancy agreement. You brought in unauthorized pets.
You did break the terms of tenancy, you declared 2 pets and later on brought more.
Hi everyone,
I'm currently renting a pet friendly room and I have a dog and rabbit which was stated in the tenancy agreement. Recently my dog picked up two stray kittens and has bonded with them however the land lord has ordered us to get rid of them within a week and should we choose to keep them he'll evict us and keep my deposit and I would have to bear all costs. It is not stated anyway that there was a limit on the amount of pets so is what he's doing legal ? Is there a way I can back my deposit since I did not break anything on the tenancy agreement ?
