Private equity?

You'll have better chances becoming an analyst than an investment broker. Private equity is generally reserved for the older audience, as they usually have verifiable investment experience. (Investors don't want to invest money in some nobody who has never invested before, unless you can show them in person that you can earn a lot of money (but if that's the case, you wouldn't be doing that job).)

Believe it or not but this is going to come down to knowing your stuff and talking to the right people. Find out where you want to work and what you to do.... then just do it. Don't take no for an answer. Do what ever it takes to land that job you have your eye on an just Do It.

i have a 3.0 gpa(finance) from university of north texas and graduate in fall. i am trying to find an internship before then. I am good at talking to people and pulled my gpa up from a 2.4 and have a 3.4 major gpa.

im actually a really bright guy, i just used to be lazy. what are the chances of me breaking into private equity and what other opportunities are there?
