The market always goes through periods where it's seems to only going up... or always going down, or always staying pretty flat.... or always being very volatile with little sense of "direction". What ever the market is doing right now... there's only one thing you can know for sure..... it will change.
Like my blood pressure, the stock market goes up and down, but I would not call it "inconsistent".
There is a lot of money "out there" and people have to put it "somewhere". There is not much money to be made in the Bond Market. Gold is down. Real Estate is illiquid. Collectibles are "difficult".
Bottom line, more money to go into stocks in the near future - unless we go to war over the Ukraine or we have another terrorist attack or China's (or Germany's) economy melts down.
But then, I have been wrong before.
After reaching new highs, it seems to be gyrating
up and down the past few months. If the situation
with Russia calms down, we might see a new jump
in the stock markets.
I was just wondering, has the stock market been very inconsistent recently ?
