If you take the risky path, you may end up with some quick substantial gains - but in the end, as with all gambling, your performance with deviate towards the outcome associated with the risk being taken. And like you mentioned, your life will be a nervous wreck.
If you take the safer (smarter) path (note I didn't say less profitable path), it may take a bit longer to make substantial gains, but in the end you'll deviate towards the outcome associated with the risk.
What is the safer, smarter, path? Investing in fundamentally undervalued companies. While people are selling, you are buying - and vice-versa.
yes, i would go with your decision.
quitting CFD's is the right thing in present scenario and especially the situation you are facing.
While CFDs appear attractive, they also present some potential pitfalls. For one, having to pay the spread on entries and exits eliminates the potential to profit from small moves. The spread will also decrease winning trades by a small amount (over the actual stock) and will increase losses by a small amount (over the actual stock). So while stocks expose the trader to fees, more regulation, commissions and higher capital requirements, the CFD market has its own way of trimming traders' profits by way of larger spreads.
You can make too much money with Binary Options and you have to ways for that: learning to do very well or as you can see clicking the link below: ( http://forexsignal.kyma.info ) The most important thing is that if you have the right programs and you study the right stuff you WILL success in this buisness! This course explain everything you need to start a very profitable trading activity.
about 1 year go I started trading stocks and made some good trades then I discovered cfds and got greedy. at the beginning I got lucky and made some profit but then I started loosing money and the motivation to make back what I lost made me loose even more and high leverage, high fees didn't help. and don't have any self control or discipline it requires to be a good trader. now I got to the stage where I can not afford to loose any more but I feel I gained enough skill and knowledge to continue to trade and start to become profitable. I have decided to quit cfd day trading because it is stressful its difficult to make money as the losses can be frequent, high leverage, choice of instruments don't help as I tend just try something more risky to try and make back what I lost. fees/spread and overnight charges are high, risk of gaps in the market are high. I thought if I just do simple buy low sell high stock/shares without any leverage is less risky less stressful I don't have to stare at the smart phone or computer all the time and no fees to hold stocks for a week or months before it becomes profitable to sell.
what do you think m I making the right decision or m I quitting cfds at the right time? thanks
