Their most recent 10-Q says "Unless we can raise more funding we are dead". The last form they filed was an "Inability to file forms in a timely way for Q2, 2013".
How could this firm not look dead to you?
Hey,
Penny stocks, also known as cent stocks in some countries, are common shares of small public companies that trade at low prices per share. They are notoriously risky but if you follow a special method I've learned you can earn good money at almost no risk. This is the site I use: http://pennystocks.toptips.org
I definitely recommend subscribing to this site in particular. Very good research, quality stocks. I was a bit weary of penny stocks from all the bad hype they receive but this guy is pretty legit. He's put my mind at ease with a lot of the fears I've had. I especially like that he doesn't send out announcements left and right. I've signed up for other websites that fill my in-box with one company after the other. I don't know where to even start with so many choices in front of me! Nathan sends me one idea a week and that's all I need. Working so many hours during the week leaves me with very little time when I get home to start doing tons of penny stock research. I'm always eager to see what Nathan's next suggestion is each Friday and I love having time on the weekend to do my research.
As said above if you want to make money with penny stocks you have to follow some proven methods. This one in my opinion is the best: http://pennystocks.toptips.org
What in the world did you do for research before you bought this stock? This company is a ghost company - it has no web site, hasn't had a press release since October and that was incomprehensible mumbo-jumbo, and shows no activity whatsoever in every market information source. This is an example of a penny stock that is nothing but BS, which is just about 99% of penny stocks.
It means that no one is interested in buying or selling that stock (more likely buying). In order for there to be activity, there must be both a buyer and seller. Given that it is a penny stock that has lost money for four years in a row and basically has no revenue, being illiquid should not surprise you. My guess is that if you placed a buy order, there would be activity from people stuck with this stock.
You just threw your money away. There has been no activity and it's trading at $0.002 a share. That's 2 thousands of a cent. You would need 1000 shares to equal a penny. Hopefully it was a very small amount of money. You just learned a valuable lesson about penny stocks. STAY AWAY.
Thta means no one wanted to sell it, and even if someone wanted to buy it, it wasn't available for purchase.
Because it's share price is so low, this is not traded on major exchanges. It is likely traded on over-the-counter market, also called a "pink sheet". You are going to have tough time selling this. The risk of holding onto something like this is beyond most investor's risk tolerance.
Looking at its latest balance sheet, its liability FAR exceeds its asset. (by order of 10 TIMES) The company never made any profit. Account payable is also twice the size of receivable.
This is not a healthy company.
I hope you are aware of all this, and you can either tolerate the risk or have very little invested in it.
Good luck.
The stock i purchased, which is INKN by the way, has a closing date of Feb 5. Since then there has been absolutely no volume, or update at all. Ive seen other stocks with closing dates of Nov 15 also. What does this mean exactly???
