What are good investing options for a 23 year old?

go all in! I wish I had really placed some large bets on my business dreams at 23. Now at 41, I'm still working for others, getting by fine, but stuck with much higher bills, kids, etc. Wish I had been an entrepreneur earlier and socked away more, or taken some investment risks that paid off.

Learn as much as you can about the stock market and investing by reading some library books on the subject. Read about real estate investing. Get a feel for all of this. Take several months to get up to speed, then go for your dreams.

Get a roth and 401k

What do you do? I make 45 an hour as an engineer. I work 2 full time jobs which comes to 90 an hour. I work 16hrs days for 5 days. Life is good.

Best of luck

if they have a 401k retirement plan, put 10% into that to start and start saving another 10% for an emergency fund and/or money to get your own place eventually

Buy a house ,rent it and do not invest any more money in it unless you really really have to ...like leaking roof of broken water pipe.

Save up for a down payment on a house.

Hey all, Im 23 years old and will be starting my career in a few weeks. I'll be earning about $30/hr as a full time employee.

I have very few monthly expenses, I have calculated under 800 dollars a month for my expenses- I live with parents.

My first order of business is to pay off my motorcycle.

Afterwards, what type of investing is best for me?
