Create a business that helps teach others to be great in your line of work by working with actual bands at an actual recording studio. Like a UTI for the music industry. Lower name bands could get their stuff recorded for not as much money so they can actually put out full length albums and have it sound like they want it to sound, and you can help prospective students get hands on experience in the industry. Students would obviously have to pay, but nothing looks better on a resume than putting down that you helped produce and mix _______ album by _______ band. I looked into the music industry as a producer and I found it was completely different than what I thought and I figured out I had no way of getting experience because all that equipment is super expensive and no one wants to hire someone without experience. I would love to be your first student if need be to try it all out.
