you're a finance major? get a job with a real company
I'm looking at grad jobs at the minute and there seems to be hundreds of forex broker jobs being advertised by recruitment companies. Are these the real deal... I.e are they actual interdealer broker jobs or is it the recruitment companies putting a positive spin on jobs that are essentially sales? Or is an fx 'sales' broker a separate thing? Also if anyone could tell me what a forex broker actually does that would be great. I have had an interview at a FTSE100 brokerage company which I applied to directly (not via a recruitment agency) which was very competitive and I just find it hard to believe these are the same kind of jobs so would like to know more before I commit. Thanks.
