AAPL Apple Inc. went through a 7:1 stock split. If you had 100 shares before you now would have 700 shares. The price/share is adjusted by the same ratio. So stock holder's overall value in their position stays the same but the price/share goes down which makes it more affordable for investors who want to put a smaller dollar investment in AAPL.
