are you sure you are on the Scottrade site? there is no reason at all why they would mention whether or not you have a mortgage.
In addition to what the others had to say, if it is infact the Scottrade site claiming that you have a mortgage, you immediately want to get yourself your free credit report from the 3 major credit bureaus. Make sure your credit report is clean. If you see an error like a mortgage showing up when it shouldn't immediately contact the credit bureau.
