I miss El Pollo Loco. I used to go there when I lived in CA. Now I live in FL and Pollo Tropical is okay, but I think Loco is better.
Sorry, what was the question again? :)
I just ate there for the first time the other night and I have to say that the food is excellent. Some of the best Chicken I have ever had and that avocado salsa along with their flour tortillas are simply amazing. I have one down the street from me and it is next to a Boston Market. I would normally go to Boston Market for whole or half chickens with a couple of sides but I have to say that the crazy chicken is now the go to spot for chicken.
I wanted to see if they were a public company so I could look into purchasing their stock. I think if they could find a way to get more people to eat their once or twice instead of the Yum Brands restaurants and other fast food options they would get really popular and grow. I found an article saying that they were struggling as a company and sustaining year over year losses, but I also read that they announced they will be making a public offering soon? Would an IPO and all the activist shareholders that come with it help turn the company around? Could El Pollo Loco Holdings Inc. be the next Yum Brands? If so I will definitely invest.
