A question about dividends from shares?

5% yield on $25 share price.

Div yield =dividend per share/share price

So 5%= Div p.s/25

Or 5/100= Div/25

Or 5/100 x 25=Div

So Div is $1.25

P/E is Price/Earnings =$25/$5=5

Dividend yield = Dividend / Price

0.05 = Div / 25

rearrange...

Div = 0.05 x 25

Div = $1.25

P/E = Price / EPS = 25 / 5 = 5

Stock in Creole Cuisine Restaurants is selling at $25 per share. Creole Cuisine had earnings of $5 a share and a dividend yield of 5 percent. What is the dividend? What is the P/E ratio?

Tnx very much! :)
