Broker site asking for id?

hey ask for id picture and credit card statement.

Can they stole my credit card money or something?

It is federal law that financial instititions (including brokerage firms) request, and hold documentation as to prove a customers identity.

A major law in the securites business is "to know your customer" therefore it is imporatant that brokerage firms have proof of customer id on file.

Since financial institutions are responsible for financial reporting it is mandotry that they have proof on file of their customers's ids.

Could they steal your id - yes, but would they - no If a firm ian any way is thought to violate the rules or jepodize any one credit the firm's registration and membership will be immediately terminatedd, and most customer do not have enough credit or assets to make this worthwile

Brokers , like all financial institutions, require proof of identity (for anto money laundering regulations).

One form needs picture like Passport or driving licence and the second needs proof of your address (like a bank statement, letter from IR etc.). If it is in UK 9maybe elsewhere) your id can be checked electronically via Experian or C6 (also checks for criminal activity which could be relevant to broker). Try opening a bank account without id

yeah , such a site asking ur for ur cv and try to hack every thing that about your cv
