The same goes for LLPF.L which is 91000p or £910.00p
LOL!
How DO "penny stocks" work?
The folks who OWN the company (and most of the shares) put in an "ask" for 4 cents (when the price is 2 cents), then they hurry over to a chat board where they "talk up" those shares, and explain they are SURE to rise to 8 cents, or $100, or whatever....then YOU buy their shares at 5 cents....THEY have more than doubled their money....the price drops to what it's "worth" (2 cents)....YOU get pissed off and dump the shares (they buy them back for 2 cents), and it all starts over....
Hey there,
Penny stocks, also known as cent stocks in some countries, are common shares of small public companies that trade at low prices per share. They are notoriously risky but if you follow a special method I've learned you can earn good money at almost no risk. This is the site I use: http://pennystocks.toptips.org
I definitely recommend subscribing to this site in particular. Very good research, quality stocks. I was a bit weary of penny stocks from all the bad hype they receive but this guy is pretty legit. He's put my mind at ease with a lot of the fears I've had. I especially like that he doesn't send out announcements left and right. I've signed up for other websites that fill my in-box with one company after the other. I don't know where to even start with so many choices in front of me! Nathan sends me one idea a week and that's all I need. Working so many hours during the week leaves me with very little time when I get home to start doing tons of penny stock research. I'm always eager to see what Nathan's next suggestion is each Friday and I love having time on the weekend to do my research.
As said above if you want to make money with penny stocks you have to follow some proven methods. This one in my opinion is the best: http://pennystocks.toptips.org
Bye Bye
I noticed something weird today on yahoo finance and I put 2 + 2 together to come up with something. Basically, I went on the price gainers and saw LLPF.L and AGOL.L all went up by over 9500% - crazy figures! They've both traded for long periods of time too, and I saw a correlation between the stock prices and the prices the shares were bought for - e.g. LLPF.L was 91,000 and sold for 925 (a huge loss for the seller). AGOL.L was 436 a share but sold for 4.53 a share (a huge loss again for the seller). Does this mean that someone has set automatic buy orders up to catch these bargains? Because it could be quite easy to accidently miss a few 0s when selling off shares so is this what has happened and people have capitalized on their mistakes by automatically buying them?
