Cyprus is the fraud capital of Europe, with the weakest regulation and consumer protection anywhere. Only a fool would deal with a broker there.
Binary options are a scam. The odds are so stacked against you that you cannot possibly win long term.
It is just unregulated gambling at terrible odds. Here is how the math works for 70% payout.
Win: 70%
Lose: 100%
Expected value of each trade: (70 - 100 ) / 2 = -15%
You would have to predict over 60% just to break even.
I'd rather say you shouldn't be dealing with a Cyprus based firm at all. It's one of the most poorly regulated countries and there have been a lot of fraud cases. A friend of mine got trapped in a scam two years ago by a company in Cyprus and I've been very careful since then. I think if you're new at this just make a small investment in the beginning. Finally you need to find a good broker before you actually make an investment. Try to make a rapport before you guys make a commitment.

could i trust 24option? it says the company is registered in Cyprus under the companies law.
