Can you open a stock trading account through your bank?

You can, but you shouldn't. It's like buying your scotch tape at Sacs Fifth Avenue. You'll get the same product but it will cost you a whole lot more.

Yeah, but you'd be better off with TD Ameritrade or Scottrade than with Chase.

Chase Bank offers brokerage services.

You clearly don't know enough to be investing in individual stocks. You are competing with experienced professionals who have advanced degrees in finance and economics.

I have a Chase bank account and I thought it would be easier to open a trading account through the bank instead of another website. So can you open a stock account through your bank (Chase), and trade though them? Thanks.
