Capital gains when you don't work?

You are correct.

People always mention capital gains taxes as 15% , but I see that income between 0-$36,000 for a single person that are capital gains are taxed at 0%. So if I don't have a job and I make 30,000 a year in capital gains I'll pay no income tax?
