But I feel your pain. Having a bomb machine is crucial to your livelyhood if you live in an area that's remote especially if it's prone to inclement weather.
You must make it clear to your parental units that they are responsible for your well being and contact with your peers is critical to your overall social development along with exposure to the latest technology that will allow you to foster your creativity on the same level as the kids in the city. Always remind them that computers are THE future.
If that fails...well your gonna have to dig deep. ;)
I asked my parents for a machine gun...I got an ant farm.
What are the prospects of finding gold near your home?
Have you ever looked? Even if you go out and find just a tiny amount panning a nearby stream you could potentially collect enough by june if you hit it hard and often. Learning to pan is certainly not beyond your capabilities.
Upside: You might hit it big. Downside: Hard work, freezing your *** off, might get shot.(U.S. only)
Do you have anything to sell? Think hard. Is there anything made or grown locally that you can get and sell online for a profit? Antiques, local indian stuff, anything that may unique to your area. Maybe homemade maple syrup? (forget about selling your parents it won't work..I tried.)
Do some more shopping. Is $1500 the actual price of everything you want or is it a general guess? Look real hard and you might be able to shave a sizeable sum off the cost especially since you really don't need to buy right away. A vid card that's $189.99 today will likely be $99.95 by summer.(accept no cheap substitutes though..we're talking about your livelyhood here)
Walk around the neighborhood offering to shovel people's driveways for whatever the going fee is.
I'm a 13 years old boy wanting to make 1500 dollars for a computer. I don't have a time limit or anything but at the most June of this year. Since it's the winter and snowing where I live I can't do washing cars and summer stuff, but maybe later when it warms up. I also live in a small community with the population at about 800. There is a small town about 45 mins drive from here with the population of about 4500 and they mostly speak french which I don't understand. If that's any help. And no babysitting or anything like that. An incident happened lately about that..
