To work on the floor, you need to know some one who's already down there. Firms do hire "gofers" for the summer, or even part timeers for grnt work, but it alt least gets you there
Unless you have exstenive experience, traders are not hired to work on the floor. You need to get a job in the brokerage firm in either P&S, fails, stock loan/borrow in order to learn what trading is all about
Hedger funds and investment bankers do not work on the floor, most of them work in the back office and stock brokers are not permitted in the floor.
Go to the library and look in the reference section for "Securities Dealers of North America" this books list all b/ds inb alphabetical order within state - take a look at either New York or Chicago for firms that have floor operations
ATTENTION RAJINISH - you have no idea what you're talking about, currently your repsones are not your own, you are taking items from others and putting them out there as your own. Keep doing this and you WILL be reported to the Comittee
Just go to school and then start applying for jobs. Most "trading floor" jobs start out on orders desk or in the overnight shift. Ick.
