The fastest way I've found is to get a job. You'll double that $250 in no time. In terms of investing, the more risk you take the more likely to "double" your $250. Buy an out of the money option, hope it becomes in the money. Probably won't, but you'll have a small chance at doubling your money. I would not do this if I were you. Again, I would get a job and earn the additional $250. Slow and steady wins.
