Is it wise to invest in silver?

Precious metals are more terrain for speculators than investors. You can go ahead and do it, but they are high risk investments. Personally I would rather put my money into mutual funds, or even commodity ETFs if I were to go that route.

Silver may fall more. Just my move but from here its going to rise . You can buy in small quantity if it falls buy more.

Why not consider investing in silver stock? Then when the company's stock rises you make money.

I have no experience in investing hard assets such as these. However real estate is something I do have some experience in, but that another topic.

I realize that material is a good thing to invest in because they will ALWAYS go up and down, and unlike stocks very low risk of permanent drop in prices.

Gold is peaking, and copper has potential but steady. Silver is low. Should I invest in .999 kg bars of silvers? I know you need a airtight compartment for these.

It seems to me that, unlike gold that is used for eletronics. Silver prices dropped after the economy downfall, is it wrong to expect it to rise?

Also tips would be nice.
