Looking for someone to invest in me.?

The point about taxes is excellent.

Doubling someone's money over 20 years is a compounded annual return of only 3.5%, hardly fair compensation for the risk taken.

Why would any sane person consider your proposal over a stock index fund with historical returns of 8% to 10% per year?

There are lots of problems here. You claim your career will pay you $300K or more in 12 years. Sounds like medical school. How can I be sure you have what it takes to be a doctor? (Or whatever career it is) You are too young to realize that careers that pay $300K a year are very difficult to achieve. For every 1,000 punks like you who thinks they are going to do it, maybe 50 actually make it. That's pretty bad odds for my million. Then I would have to depend on the healthcare system staying more or less the way it is, a bad bet for sure. Doctors could be making minimum wage in 20 years, who knows? Lastly, I would have to depend on your credit worthiness, which is another risk.

If you're so sure of yourself and so talented, you can go into debt like all other medical students. You take the risk and reap the rewards, if any. You borrow a million and only have to pay back a million and some interest. And if you're really the hotshot you think you are, you can get plenty of grants.

2.4 to 4.0 million is BEFORE taxes. After taxes of 30-40% you will not be able to pay 2.0 million back. That miscalculation alone shows poor planning and assessment and an unacceptable risk. Sorry.

Wow

Anyone smart enough to accumulate $1 million isn't going to be dumb enough to give it to you. I'm "legitly" serious.

better stick to taco bell.

hahahahaha (and I am serious)

This may seem silly and I don't know if it will be worth it for you but... I'm looking for $1,000,000. And in 20 years I will give you $2,000,000. Why? I'm in school and I'd like to just live and focus on school without the stress of money. My career I get in 12 years pays $300-500k a year. So 2.4-4mil earned by the 20th year from the investment. Making your money back and doubling it will not be hard. Being broke for 12 years is actually terribly long. A deal can certainly be worked out. I am serious. Also as soon as I have 2mil i will give to you, could be by the 16th year. But definitely by 20. Additionally any amount of money would be helpful and again as soon as i can I will pay you double or triple your input. (Depending on the deal). Please only comment if you are legitly serious.
