Looking to buy stock without paying yearly fee?

There are dozens of online brokerages that don't have yearly, quarterly, or annual fees. You only pay to buy or sell.

Sharebuilder is nice because it allows you to reinvest dividends at no charge. Scottrade is also good as it also has some local offices, but it requires an initial investment of $500 to open the account.

hello, I am looking to buy stock without paying yearly fees but so many online brokerage sites require yearly fees if you don't trade up to a certain amount. Now I want to buy a few stocks of a company here in a company there and just let him ride for years down the road, how can I go about doing that? I don't want to pay yearly or monthly fees or anything like that with the exception of fees that I would have to pay a broker, that I understand.can I deal with Chase Bank to do something like that? Like if I wanted to buy Apple or anything like that.. thank you very much.
