Hello, I recently wanted to see the risk involved when holding exposure to a certain stock, I used an online value at risk calculator and input hypothetical numbers that would give me an idea of the risk I would be facing in different scenarios. During one of my trials I noticed that VaR became a negative number. It was -2.63. What does this indicate? In most cases value at risk is positive. Thanks guys.
