You will be happier doing what you are interested in. Although finance pays higher on average you will probably have better job security in accounting. You could also major in one and minor in the other.
Both are good but i suggest you to go with accounting.

I am very good at math. I wanted to do accounting but my advisor out me into finance without my permission but I'm not interested in finance. I do not like investments or selling products. I'm more into numbers. Would I be more likely to major in finance or accounting. I'm still in school and I don't want to major in something that I have no interest in and if I go back into accounting I will be in school longer maybe 2 or 3 years more. But with finance I have 10 more classes left but I have no interest in it.
