Similarities between commodity and stock.?

Posted at: 2014-12-05
Owning a stock means owning a share of a specific company. A commodity usually refers to a tangible product, such as coffee beans, raw corn, etc.

You can trade both on the open market, but as you can guess, the value of a stock is dependent on the underlying company, while the value of a commodity is dependent on the supply/demand of the commodity itself.

Ther's no similarity that's why they are seprate things. Ok so maybe you can use both as investment vehicles

Not sure....But refer some stock exchange guidelines site
