I've used ameritrade for my regular and IRA accounts. Besides the transaction costs, i've never paid for anything else. However, there are certain accounts that you would have to run up fees. You'd have to research that on their website.
I understand that they charge a $10 fee each time you buy or sell stock, but are there any long term fees? Or can I just buy stock and sit on it and not worry about any extra fees?
