Quality publications worth the money: Wall Street Journal, FT, Barron's
Online with uneven quality, some gems, lots of crap: SeekingAlpha, Motley Fool
If you have a good business library nearby: Wall Street Transcript ($$$)
Check out in a library first, but 3-month trial is a decent deal: Value Line
None of these are a substitute for learning to do your own research. Most good investors know how to read quarterly reports, annual reports, 10-K and 10-Q filings with SEC, etc.
The 3 books I always recommend in case you have not already read them:
One Up On Wall Street - Peter Lynch
A Random Walk Down Wall Street - Burton Malkiel
The Intelligent Investor - Benjamin Graham
and a 4th if you are really serious about research
Security Analysis - Graham & Dodd
Investor's Business Daily (IBD) is another good publication with lots of ideas by William O'Neil. His book, How to Make Money in Stocks, is a good one.

I read the FT, Motley and Barrons. Some trader suggested another paid subscription to a publication but now I forget which one it is. Suggestions?
