Stocks are just one type of investing, and you can make a small fortune in a very short while with stocks!

When you go to the horticulturist and purchase an apple tree ,then you are buying stock.

When you get it home, you plant the tree and hope that it thrives and ,in time, produces fruit . That`s investing.

Buying stocks is just one of the many ways you can invest your money. Investing is many things while buying stocks is just 1 thing that can be listed under investing.

In both cases, your fund will be spent. However, both have diffrent meaning. In investment, we build a portfolio in a discipline manner for long term gain & wealth creation. Stock trading is a gamble which will either put you in sustantial gain or loss. Choice is yours.

Investing, on the whole, is better for companies. Because a public company has a board of directors responsible to shareholders, the needs of the shareholders are on the minds of the board.People who buy stocks usually intend to hold them for the long term. They buy shares because they think the price of the stock is going to rise. The company also might pay dividends, which is the company's way of sharing profits with their shareholders. Dividends are often quarterly cash distributions.
