Save, period. Don't spend on anything. Money is too hard to come by, and too easy to lose, and if an emergency happens, you don't want to have already spent the money. Every Christmas, get yourself something for under 200 dollars, because you make 100 per month. 100 per month is 1,200 per year. 200 or less in December is one sixth of your savings. You can do that. Get anything you want at Christmas, as long as you only spend a maximum of 200, including tax. The remaining thousand should go in savings.
I am 12 years old and I'm not sure what to use my saved up money for. I was saving for a computer but I got that for my bday. I have $700 to spend but I get $100 a month and an extra $100 if it's a holiday so I can save up some more money if the thing I should save for is more expensive. Any suggestions on what to buy or save for?( I also already have tons of clothes and makeup so nothing like that and I also already have a good phone so I don't need a phone to buy. Also nothing for the future like a car or apt savings.) THX!!????????????????????
