What would be a good investment in simple terms?

Speak with a financial professional. The type of investment depends on a number of factors such as age, risk tolerance, amount of time before you want to use the money, etc.

Real estate takes lots of work and time, stocks are critical at the moment.

If you have over 100K, then best I can suggest would be a managed mutual fund from a bank, even after paying your 1.6% fee you will after a year make at least 4% on a moderate model.

A mutual fund can be closed anytime should an emergency come up, it won’t make you rich but is a place to park your money better than a saving account.

I park my money with JP Morgan (Chase Bank) and own 3 Mutual funds, conservative, moderate and aggressive, and they fluctuate along with the market, but when one is down the other is up.

The difference between one and the other is the amount of stocks each one has.

Real estate.

Mutual funds.

I am fixing to close my buisness and will be setting on a fair amount of cash in the bank. I was wondering what some good investments would be that would turn a good profit? I plan on getting a job rather fast, but would like to have the money invested, rather than collecting dust in the bank.
