As a value investor, you should read as many books as you can on investing. Head to your library and go through all the investment books.
I highly recommend Peter Lynch's One up on wall street
Risk finance and asset pricing by Charles Tapierois one of the best reads but it is more on the technical side. This book is like opening Pandoras box, you'll never be the same. If you're looking for new and fresh ideas, search for journals and articles because they tend to be the new stuff on the table.
