I noticed that some financial services companies such as HSBC, Standard Life and Standard chartered do not have current ratio's displayed on any finance sites such as ft.com, Yahoo finance or MSN money. They also do not have debt-equity ratio's displayed on some sites but do on others.
When I go into their balance sheet, they have categories such as "other current liabilities" but under the subtotal current liabilities there is no figure. They just write "n/a" or simply "---"
Could someone explain the reason for this?
