Monday was a holiday (Labor Day) so the deposit wouldn't have been made until Tuesday, and your bank probably posts all credits and debits late at night. You should see it in your account Wednesday. If not, talk to your human resources department. Sometimes the first direct deposit takes some time, but after that it should be there on time.
