Can You Help Me Out A Bit?

I think she's just finding excuses to not allow you to have a job. Taxes aren't a logical reason.

The better question you should ask is, "Why won't my mother allow me to have a job?". Because, it sure seems to be like that.

There isn't really any place on the Internet where you can earn solid income. Most of it's commission-based, but even then, pay pennies at best.

Your mother doesn't understand how taxes work. Unless you start making enough money that she can no longer claim you as a dependent, your income will not affect her tax owed.

There are a few sites that allow you to earn money if your answer is selected as best, but they are usually for professionals, not for 15 year olds with poor sentence structure and attitude problems.

Wait until you are 16. In the meantime, research federal and state tax laws so you can show your mother that your paycheck won't affect her.

Your mom is mistaken about tax implications. There are none whatsoever. For a part-time job you would claim "exempt" on your W-4 and your mom would continue to be able to claim you as an exemption. Unfortunately, there are no legitimate "work online" sites that I am aware of. Maybe try to get some yard work and baby sitting gigs.

" I need to know if there are any sites that really do give me money for answering questions" - no: the few that are legitimate at best they give gift cards *not* money: you'll net about a $50 card a month for doing 1000pts of work - about four hours if your lucky - a day including weekends.

try to convince your mom that you'll help pay some of the bills or something. And prove to her that your responsible/mature enough to handle a job. And about the sites i have no idea.... you should Google it yourself. Try mowing lawns or doing chores around the house. Ask around your neighborhood if anyone is willing to pay you for yard work.

Her taxes?

Your having income would affect welfare (which is based on household income), but not her actual income tax. Your income is yours and goes on YOUR tax return, not hers. Ask mom which kind of welfare is she getting, SSI? SNAP? Section 8 housing?

Hello, well the problem is that my mom won't let me get a job because it'll mess with her taxes, I want to know is there any websites that actually work that I could do surveys and get money? I wanted to work at GameStop since they let you work there when you're 16 and I'm currently 15, but she said no so until I'm 18 I need to know if there are any sites that really do give me money for answering questions. I've already tried InboxDollars but they are retarded and only let one person from a household do it so I was like, "**** that bullshit", but if you have any others that may work, please tell me
