Is Civil Engineering useful in investing/trading?

1. Since you are doing engineering, I presume you are good in mathematics. Mathematics and engineering are logical subjects. Civil Engineering will also be helpful in property company investments.

2. A person with a mathematical bent of mind, can easily learn investment and related subjects(finance, investment, economics, etc.).

3. Therefore, your knowledge of mathematics and civil engineering will be helpful if you enter investment field.

Im currently in my 2 year of civil engineering, and to be honest I find the career a little dry.

I've done 2 internships in a big firm and I don't think I see myself being an engineer my whole life.

I've been investing a lot of my internship money in mining and energy companies.

Would my Civil engineering degree aid me in investing?

What should I do?
